<p>John Gordon Corina is a former student of Ruskin College. He took the diploma in Economics and Political Science in 1952-54, before gaining a first class degree as New College, Oxford. He did his D.Phil under G.D.H Cole and taught at St Peter's College, Oxford, before becoming Professor in Social History and Economic Thought at Thames Valley University. His father, also called John Corina, had studied at Ruskin College before him, in 1929-31.
