A refresher on the kinematics and dynamics of machinery. The book uses analytical techniques, using the vector approach, in the design of mechanical devices. Spatial mechanisms are presented using vectors and matrices. There is a also a separate chapter on simple mechanisms, such as simple revolute and sliding joints. Included with the book is a set of programs, written in MATLAB, which can be run to illustrate kinematics principles. |
